Royal Visit

We were very lucky to welcome H.R.H The Countess of Wessex G.C.V.O on the 7th November. This was a wonderful finale to a remarkable 40th Birthday Year for us.

The Countess officially opened our newly refurbished soft play room. We have installed a hoist which makes the soft play area much more accessible for children with reduced mobility, We have also incorporated a new sensory corner where the children can relax.

Pat escorted the Countess and she visited the hydrotherapy pool and sensory room where she had the opportunity to meet with some of our parents.

Her handbag nearly went for a swim too!!!!

Before she left the children from Hadrian School sang her a lovely song.

We had a lovely afternoon tea afterwards

It was an amazing day, many thanks to everyone who came along on the day and made it so special.

The Soft Play refurbishment was funded by :-The True Colours Trust, Greggs Foundation, The Bailey Thomas Charitable Fund, The Muriel Campbell Fund and Northumbrian Water Fund.

Here are the photo's from the day
